Note: The upgrade to V10 will have completed successfully.
You may experience this error after upgrading to V10 of LANSA and are trying to login to LANSA:
[email protected] PROGRAM [email protected] ENCOUNTERED AN UNEXPECTED ERROR
Library QGPL already exists in library list
This issue will occur if the following apply to your system:
- QGPL is still in use as the LANSA Communications library
- QGPL is in the system portion of the library list.
Moving QGPL out of the system portion of the library list will allow users to log into LANSA - but QGPL may still be needed in the system portion library list for other non-LANSA reasons.
Therefore, the best solution is to change the system to use a separate LANSA Communications library instead of using QGPL.
- Follow steps 5.4.1 Changing from QGPL to a LANSA Comms library in the Installing LANSA on iSeries guide.
- Make sure all LANSA objects are removed from QGPL and move QGPL back to the system portion of the library list.
This problem will be resolved in future versions of LANSA.
