Receiving and Put-Away
The merchandise reception takes place on the docks, where the goods are checked against the relative manifests. The system compares actual receipts against purchased orders and reports the differences. Receipts can be held if any differences are found. Barcode scanning significantly improves performance and accuracy in the receiving process. It supports standard formats (e.g. UCC/EAN-128).
- Standard pallets (one product per pallet).
- Mixed pallets (multiple products per pallet).
- New pallets can be built according to warehouse storage specifications.
- Monitor pending receipt tasks per dock or supplier.
- Forklifts are guided automatically by the system to put-away the merchandise to proper storage locations.
Returns
Returns are handled similarly to the standard receipts. However they are related to specific customer order shipments to accelerate identification of returned items. Returns are categorized and processed.
- Healthy Items (can either be stored in the warehouse or returned to supplier)
- Defective Items (elimination of defective items or returned to supplier)

Picking Areas Replenishment

- On time replenishment triggered by picking wave (automated by the generation of picking lists).
- On time replenishment triggered by picking process (automated by picking area stock balance).
- On time replenishment triggered by the warehouse staff (to give priority to specific picking areas).
